Stepping slowly in the thin air near the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Mark Wilson, left, state Sen. Burt Saunders, and Paul Hardy climb the last 800 feet to their goal, Uhuru Peak at 19,340 feet, the highest point in Africa. After months of planning and fund raising, 23 of 28 Kilimanjaro for Kids climbers stood on top of the mountain on Sept. 17, completing their mission to raise money and awareness for The Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida.
